What should I prepare for during the remodel?

- Will you live in the house or stay elsewhere?
- Which areas need to remain accessible?
- Do you have pets or young kids who need a safe space away from the work?
- Are there HOA rules, permits, or site access issues to discuss?
- Where will the crew park and store tools or materials?

You don’t need to have all the answers now. A good contractor will help guide you. But giving these things some thought ahead of time helps everything run smoother.
